The Roosevelt High School library is proud to announce that on January 28th, 2016 @ 7:30,  in support of literacy everywhere,  we are hosting at the Lloyd Center Theaters, the Portland premiere of the fantastic documentary of A Place to Stand, the story of how Jimmy Santiago Baca went into jail illiterate, and came out a widely published poet.
