Just seven days.  That’s how long the Senate will be in session this week
and next before leaving Washington until after Labor Day.  Because the
Senate’s schedule will be even more compressed and chaotic when Members
return prior to Election Day, and a post-election “lame duck” session is
not assured, *right now is by far the best chance we have to help Dr. Carla
Hayden get confirmed as the next Librarian of Congress*.



Please, if you haven’t yet taken just 5 minutes to ask both of your U.S.
Senators to support Dr. Hayden's nomination, now is the time!  If you like,
