[Libs-Or] Outreach Round Table Vice-Chair Nominations Due Fri. June 24th

Hello Folks,

We are starting the process of recruiting a new Vice-Chair for September 2016-17, who will then be Chair from September 2017-18.  If you are interested, please submit a brief bio and statement of interest to olaoutreachroundtable at gmail.com by Friday, June 24th by 6pm.  If you would like to nominate someone for the position, please email their contact information to olaoutreachroundtable at gmail.com by Friday, June 17th at 6pm.  To run for Vice-Chair, the member needs to be a current member of OLA and the ORT.

The responsibilities for Vice-Chair include assisting in the planning of a workshop or OLA presentation, answering questions that come up through the listserv, and working with the Chair on any additional projects you decide to undertake. Usually, the time commitment is under 30 minutes per week, with up to a few hours for a few weeks when planning the OLA presentation and/or workshop.

The Outreach Round Table focuses on providing support to members who serve many different populations, including homebound patrons, Spanish-speaking patrons, daycares and preschools, patrons experiencing homelessness, and patrons living in rural areas among others.  If you are interested in outreach and would like to be involved in OLA, please consider nominating yourself for the Vice-Chair position.
