[Libs-Or] Job Opening: Interprofessional Education Outreach Coordinator

Pacific University is seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) librarian with a passion for outreach to develop and implement outreach activities in Oregon to increase health and information literacy skills and to improve access to quality consumer health information, using National Library of Medicine (NLM) products and services, for health professionals who work with minorities, seniors, teens, veterans’ groups and military families, low income populations, or other underserved populations. This position will coordinate all training and education services and programs of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Pacific Northwest Region (NN/LM PNR) in Oregon, in collaboration with the NN/LM PNR Consumer Health Outreach Coordinator based at the Regional Medical Library (RML) at the University of Washington. The person in this position will work under the direction of the University Librarian (Project Lead) and supervision of the Health Sciences Librarian (Project Manager) and must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects, resolve various access and resource sharing issues, and provide service and advice to network members, collaborators and partners at Pacific University and in Oregon. This is a part-time benefit-eligible position, working 24-30 hours per week. Regular travel within Washington County and throughout the state of Oregon will be required.
