Dear Oregon librarians:

The December issue of International Leads<http://www.ala.org/rt/irrt/intlleads/internationalleads> is now available!


The issue includes the following stories:

*       The Zongo Story Project and a children's book written by children in Ghana

*       The experience of the Peace Corps Librarian and training Volunteers

*       Winners of the Gretchen Walsh Book Donation Award

*       The Global Literature in Libraries Initiative

*       The experiences of two librarians from Queens University working to transform Egyptian libraries

*       Report of an international training session provided by CALA members in Beijing

*       Conference report from the International Association of School Librarianship

*       Messages from the IRRT's Chair and Chair Elect
In addition, two features are launched: International Library Profile and International Partnership Profile.

  *   International Library Profile: The Bernice Nachman Marlowe Library at the American University of Afghanistan
  *   International Partnership Profile: The Universitätsbibliothek Freiburg and Penn State University Libraries
