[Libs-Or] In-person LearningExpress Library training in March

The State Library is pleased to offer three opportunities to receive hands-on training in the use of LearningExpress Library and Job and Career Accelerator this coming March. Sessions will be offered in Portland, Eugene, and Bend. See registration details at the end of this message.

These sessions will provide an overview of the online learning platform LearningExpress Library. During the first hour, we will review key platform features including our robust practice tests, eBooks, and tutorials. In the second hour, you will learn how Job & Career Accelerator can help patrons effectively navigate through the modern day job search, from exploring occupations and up-to-the-minute job postings, to creating the tools to get hired using our award-winning resume and cover letter building applications.

Trainer Shana Ashwood Viala joined EBSCO Information Services in 2015 as part of the LearningExpress acquisition, where she managed training, implementation, and support for 10 years. She is now a Senior Training Specialist with the EBSCO Global Training Team. She is a former teacher with an MA in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a BBA in Marketing from Temple University.  Shana works out of the LearningExpress office in New York City.
