Stanford University Libraries Access Grants. Please see the following (and

*Stanford University Libraries Access Grants*
*offered by the Center for Latin American Studies*
*The Stanford University Library System is one of the largest academic and
research libraries in North America, and the Latin American collection is
one of the most comprehensive in the country. The Center for Latin American
Studies at Stanford University is offering library access grants for
faculty from qualified Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) and community
colleges across the U.S. to conduct research at the Stanford University
Libraries.*
*Travel Access Grants*
 CLAS will grant access to Stanford Libraries for one academic quarter,
including remote access to the online database and in-person borrowing
privileges. CLAS will provide up to $2500 in travel costs per grantee for
on-site use of Stanford Libraries during a 1- to 2-week visit to Stanford
within the designated quarter. Grant funds may be used for airfare,
lodging, and ground transportation only. An orientation to using the
Stanford Libraries and online database will be provided.
*Local Access Grants*
CLAS will grant access to Stanford Libraries for one academic quarter,
including remote access to the online database and in-person borrowing
privileges. CLAS will provide up to $500 in local travel costs per grantee.
Grant funds may be used for ground transportation only. An orientation to
using the Stanford Libraries and online database will be provided.
*Eligibility*
·         PhD from an accredited institution (MA or equivalent for faculty
of community colleges)
·         Current faculty appointment at a qualifying MSI or community
college

   - Research and teaching interest in Latin America

*Application Deadline: February 20, 2017*
