We moved a lot of our shelves by ourselves using the large teflon furniture movers you find at walmart or Fred Myers.

Subject: [Libs-Or] Library Movers?

Hello,

We need to change the carpet under our stacks. The carpet company says the stacks need to be moved in order to get the carpet in place. Have any of you dealt with this problem? Did you use a library moving company? If so which one? How did it go? We are a relatively small library with about 20,000 items.

This may not be of interest to the wider group so I will happily and appreciatively receive responses at jtapper at uws.edu<mailto:jtapper at uws.edu> .

Thanks!

~Janet
