Hello everyone,
We have 2 upcoming webinars that might be of interest to you from the National Network of Libraries of Medicine Pacific Northwest Region (NNLM PNR). Neither requires registration and both are available for 1 Medical Library Association CE credit.
PNR Partners is a webinar where we feature 2 funded projects. Two librarians from eastern Washington came together to bring the Association of College and Research Libraries workshop, "Building Your Research Data Management Toolkit" to Spokane, WA in spring of 2017. The workshop trained regional academic and hospital librarians and support staff serving expanding medical programs and growing research needs involving rural populations. And just this past month in June, the Comics & Medicine conference was held at Seattle Public Library where a mix of venues allowed a variety of participation by attendees to explore and promote how comics can be an avenue for health information, accessibility, and communication.
Come and hear about these two great events along with tips to consider when planning your own event.
When: Wednesday July 12 from 1:00 -2:00pm PT
Learn more and how to attend: https://nnlm.gov/class/pnr-partners/7485
The next PNR Rendezvous webinar session where we will have 3 librarians presenting about their experiences developing and providing unique data services in academic medical settings in "A Rendez-vous with Data!"
When: Wednesday July 19 from 1:00-2:00pm PT.
