[Libs-Or] Time for Support Staff Division Nominations

Hello Support Staff Division members and all library support staff!

 This is a call for nominations by those who wish to run for the elected
board positions that begin in August, that are or will become vacant,
listed in the attached document;  and for those who wish to nominate
someone else.  Only members of SSD may make a nomination. With the
nomination (self or other person) send a *brief *statement showing the
interest/qualifications of the nominee based on the position descriptions
*attached*. Please get written permission (email, for example) before
nominating someone else. Email nominations to the Division Chair here
<ssd at olaweb.org>.

 Nominations close June 9th at 5:00 pm.

 Voting will begin on June 12th and remain open until June 30th .

At that time all SSD members will receive a link to the online ballot.

There also are Non-elected positions for which you can volunteer:

Conference Chair, Conference Committee,  Member-at-Large, Continuing Ed.
Chair, Social Media, Blog , and Website. If you are interested in any of
these, or have further questions, please contact the Division Chair here

Library support staff who want to get involved but are not yet members of
OLA may apply for a SSD scholarship to cover the membership fee for the
first year.  Read about our scholarships on the website here

New elected officers and other positions will be announced on the SSD list,
and on the LIBsOR list.  Introductions will be made at the Conference in
Eugene on July 28th.
