FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The State Library Board will meet at the Mount Angel Abbey Library, 1 Abbey Drive, Saint Benedict, OR 97373 on Friday, October 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Aletha Bonebrake of Baker City will chair the meeting.

The board will discuss the results of the board best practices survey and hear an appeal on a 2017-2018 Ready to Read Grant. An open forum is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Anyone may address the board on any topic at the open forum.

Sign language interpretation will be provided for the public if requested prior to 48 hours before the meeting; notice prior to 72 hours before the meeting is preferred.  Handouts of meeting materials may also be requested in alternate formats prior to 72 hours before the meeting.  Requests may be made to Robin Speer at 503-378-5015.
