We have a great job opportunity in our Collections & Adult Services program: Digital Engagement Assistant. This is a new part-time, variable hour position and is classified as a Senior Library Assistant. The posting closes on May 6.

As part of the Collections & Adult Services team, the Digital Engagement Assistant will work closely with the Digital Engagement Librarian, the E-Content Librarian, as well as other staff to help promote WCCLS digital collections and resources and increase patron engagement. Their primary responsibilities will include leveraging social media and email communication to promote and facilitate patron access to WCCLS digital collections and services and to engage with patrons online. They will also assist in building and sharing featured collections in the library's digital reading and streaming platforms.

Our ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, will provide excellent customer service to patrons and staff, and be committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion through their work. The person in this role will be eager to collaborate with others as well as happy to work independently, and they will thoughtfully consider the best tool for the job when determining how to engage with patrons online and promote library collections and services.
