[Libs-Or] Emporia's MLS Graduation

The library community is cordially invited to attend the graduation ceremony for the 17th Oregon MLS cohort of Emporia State University's School of Library & Information Management (SLIM), to be held on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm in the auditorium of Oregon Health & Sciences University (OHSU).  Parking is available that day next to the auditorium, and OHSU is also easily accessible via Trimet.

The commencement speaker will be Natalia Fernandez, the Curator and Archivist of the Oregon Multicultural Archives and OSU Queer Archives at Oregon State University.  Oregon's Interim State Librarian, Caren Agata, and OLA President, Buzzy Nielson, will also be featured speakers.

SLIM's dean, Dr. Wooseob Jeong, will be participating, and he welcomes the opportunity to meet Oregon library staff.
