​Kidlitwomen was formed by authors Grace Lin and Karenblumenthal when they
realized many women children's authors were not getting the same kind of
attention that male "rockstar" authors received. In response, they formed
the Facebook Kidlitwomen page, during Women's Month, in March 2018.

Now Grace Lin is hosting a number of podcast interviewing different women
creators. Just posted, her interview with Shannon Hale. ​This podcast is
described as "A podcast of interviews and essays focusing on women's and
gender issues, including non-binary and gender fluidity, in the children’s
literature community and all its intersectionality!"
