The Eugene Public Library is looking for a creative and technically competent Adult Services Library Assistant 3. Flexibility and a background in providing outstanding customer service are key factors to success. Library Assistants deliver reference, readers' advisory, and digital literacy services in person and by phone, chat, and email. The Library Assistant will also be assigned duties to support vibrantly active adult programming that includes classes, workshops, concerts, Maker activities, and talks by eminent experts from a variety of disciplines. The Library Assistant 3 also performs complex clerical library work to support the implementation of adult programs and other library activities. Qualified candidates will be tech-savvy and possess exceptional customer service skills, with a good professional image and attitude, and enthusiasm for public library work. This position is 32 hours/week (0.8 FTE). The work schedule is Friday - Monday, 9:00am to 6:00pm.
Salary: $18.56 - $23.10 Hourly
