FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The State Library Board will meet at the State Library, 250 Winter St. NE, Salem, OR on June 19, 2018. Ann Malkin of Bend will chair the meeting.

On June 19th the Board will hold their regular meeting which will include the State Librarian Recruitment Update, 2019 - 2021 Budget Request, Talking Books and Braille Advisory Council, Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Advisory Council, and Appointments to the Government Services Advisory Council. An Open Forum is scheduled for 11:45 a.m.  Anyone may address the Board on any topic at the Open Forum.

Sign language interpretation will be provided for the public if requested prior to 48 hours before the meeting; notice prior to 72 hours before the meeting is preferred. Handouts of meeting materials may also be requested in alternate formats prior to 72 hours before the meeting. Requests may be made to Eva Luna at (503) 378-5015
