* Learning outcomes: This webinar will provide a general overview of Federal records for genealogical research held by the National Archives in Washington, D.C. It covers civilian and military records from various Federal agencies and departments that document the different ways in which our ancestors might have interacted with the Federal Government. The lecture highlights census, immigration, and naturalization activities, as well as military service from the Revolutionary War to the 20th century.
