Libraries as community anchors are at the center of social crises
challenging our neighbors. Homelessness, poverty, healthcare, immigration,
substance abuse, and other issues impact operational decisions.

Join the San Jose State University School of Information next Wednesday,
October 17, for a series of conversations on how libraries have developed,
responded, and championed programs and services to address some of these
social crises. Our Library 2.018 web conference is open to everyone and free
to attend.
