Lewis & Clark College in Portland seeks a Social Sciences & Data Librarian
at the Aubrey R. Watzek Library.  Watzek Library supports the College of
Arts & Sciences and the Graduate School of Education & Counseling, and is a
member of the Orbis Cascade Alliance.

The Social Sciences and Data Librarian provides leadership in the planning,
implementation, and assessment of data discovery and related services in
support of the social sciences. Works with faculty and students across
social sciences departments on the discovery, analysis, and presentation of
data using relevant technology. Develops liaison partnerships with faculty,
students, and staff to support teaching, learning, and research in assigned
social science departments including Economics, International Affairs, and
Political Science. Assists students and faculty with research, teaches
course integrated information literacy instruction, meets students and
faculty for in depth research consultations, and develops library
collection in a variety of formats.
