The Oregon Library Association has been advocating for Oregon House Bill 2243, which updates the current statutory definition of "Public Library".  It is in need of revision to better reflect the changing landscape of libraries and to ensure exceptional public library services for all Oregonians.

Tomorrow the Senate Business and General Government Committee has a hearing scheduled on HB 2243.  OLA representatives will attend to testify.  Show your support by quickly sending emails to committee members via the link below:
