The West Linn Public Library is seeking dynamic, tech-savvy applicants for an Adult Services Librarian position.  Our ideal candidate enjoys working both independently and collaboratively to provide outstanding service to patrons through reference interactions, collection development, and innovative programming.
The person in this position will:

*         Be familiar with social, cultural, and technological trends that impact adults' lives and use this knowledge to help develop, promote, and present novel programs.

*         Evaluate and acquire compelling materials for our adult nonfiction collection. Assess and weed existing collection and resources.

*         Creatively seek new ways to engage our local community, working with individuals and organizations to establish effective partnerships.

*         Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with people from diverse backgrounds.

*         Be willing to try new ideas and learn from both success and failure.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a varied schedule that may include evening and weekend shifts.
