[Libs-Or] Register FREE today for the Pura Belpre Award

Dear Librarians and Library staff,

REFORMA- Oregon and McMinnville Public Library are hosting the 5th Mock Pura Belpre, we count with you to help us choose the best Latinx author and illustrator in Children Literature!

The award is named after Pura Belpré, the first Latina librarian at the New York Public Library. The Pura Belpré Award, established in 1996, is presented annually to a Latino/Latina writer and illustrator whose work best portrays, affirms, and celebrates the Latino cultural experience in an outstanding work of literature for children and youth.

*Late Breakfast and afternoon snacks will be provided at 10:00 am and 3pm correspondingly.
At lunch time you will be free to explore your choices in town and network with other attendees.
