Property maps, 311 data, school rating information, and census statistics
are all examples of open data. How can librarians use all of this data to
help our communities?
The San Jose State University School of Information's free Library 2.019 web
conference on June 5 will dive into open data and the tools you can
implement to enhance library services. Registration is free!

The opening keynote panel presentation will be moderated by Anne
Neville-Bonilla, who serves as director of the California Research Bureau at
the California State Library; and Will Saunders, who leads the State of
Washington's Open Data program in the Office of Privacy and Data Protection.
