Hello Libs-Or members,
The staff training round table offers educational meetings a few times each
year. These sessions are open to any OLA members and are usually about 3
hours long. We cover a variety of topics related to staff training and
development and offer a remote option for attendance.
We are currently developing our list of topics that are needed most by OLA
members. Topics can include things like specific training content areas
(reader's advisory, communication skills, customer service, etc.) or
specific training skills (needs assessment, classroom management,
experiential learning, etc.).
The members will discuss the topics at our next meeting on November 14th
from 3pm-4pm. If you are interested in joining our discussion or have ideas
you'd like us to consider, you can either join us or send your topics to:
traceyl at multco.us.
Best regards,
*Staff Training Roundtable Board*
