[Libs-Or] Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Oregon Regional Gatherings

Everyone,


 If you have wondered whether you can create a Dolly Parton's Imagination
Library program in your area, you should attend one of two DPIL Regional
Meetings that will be held on November 13th  in Sisters, OR or November
15th in Wilsonville (see below).  Pam Hunsaker, DPIL Western Regional
Director, will be present to talk about the program and answer questions.
People involved in programs throughout the State will also be attending to
talk about their programs.

Currently, there are over 50 affiliates in Oregon, providing over 25,000
preschoolers with quality books each month. Longitudinal research has shown
that the program has resulted in reading increases and school success for
participants.

phunsaker at imagination.com) if you can be with us.

Regional Gatherings



Dear Brenda,


Please plan to join us for an Imagination Library affiliate gathering in
Oregon.  We will discuss what is happening with the Imagination Library in
Oregon as well as the plans we have to possibly expand to the rest of the
state. There will be time for questions and networking with other
Imagination Library affiliates from your region.

For your convenience, there are two opportunities to meet.  The first one
is Wednesday, November 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at  Ray's Food Place
Community Room, 635 N Arrowleaf Trail, Sisters, OR  97759 or  Friday,
November 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Wilsonville Library, 8200 SW
Wilsonville Rd, Wilsonville, OR 97070. Lunch will be provided.
