Hello!

Have you ever had questions about these things we have in Oregon called library districts? If so, you're probably not alone - it can be confusing!*

The State Library has recently posted some very basic, high-level information about Library Districts in Oregon that we hope you'll find useful:
https://libguides.osl.state.or.us/libraryservice/districts
We've also updated a handy 2-page document on Oregon library districts for 2019 you can find at the bottom of this page. It was last updated in 2011 and we've seen 6 new districts established<https://www.oregonlaws.org/ors/357.417> in Oregon since then!

(*Special thanks to Christy Davis at Silver Falls Library District for sharing her encyclopedia knowledge.)
