Greetings!

The following two sessions, LGBTQ and U, are free for anyone to attend:

The sessions will be August 13 and 20 from 8a - 10a, PT. Join in for a deep dive into the how and why of supporting LGBTQ+ young people and materials in your school and public libraries.

Participants will explore the Defending Intellectual Freedom: LGBTQ+ Materials in School Libraries resource guide and look at ways to use this information in your library every day to support your collections and students/patrons. This two-session workshop will include a mix of presentations and hands-on activities that will prepare attendees to offer more and better services to all of the young people they serve and is appropriate for librarians who work with youth of all ages.
