Hello everyone,

This Friday (12/11) at 2 PM EST the LYRASIS Consulting Team will be holding a free webinar called, NEH Preservation Assistance Grants, to share an overview of National Endowment for the Humanities Preservation Assistance Grants (PAGs), including eligible activities, the application process, the review process, information on previously-funded projects, tips on writing your application, and more. The team will review the latest application guidelines for proposals due on January 14, 2021.

This grant is an excellent opportunity to carry out desired functions in the areas of preservation for cultural heritage institutions.  Eligible activities include:


  *   General preservation assessments
  *   Consultations with preservation professionals to address a specific preservation issue, need, or problem
  *   Purchase of storage furniture and preservation supplies
  *   Purchase of environmental monitoring equipment for humanities collections
  *   Education and training
  *   Disaster preparedness and response
  *   Storage methods and materials
  *   Best practices for digital preservation
  *   ....and more
