Amazon Publishing in Talks to Offer E-books to Public Libraries<https://www.publishersweekly.com/pw/by-topic/industry-news/libraries/article/85068-dpla-in-talks-to-offer-amazon-publishing-e-books-to-libraries.html?utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=CYS%20121120&utm_term=BookRiot_CheckYourShelf_DormantSuppress>

As you might know, Amazon is now one of the biggest publishers of ebooks, but has not given libraries access to Amazon Publishing content. It looks like the Digital Public Library of America is in talks to change that. It will be interesting if other e-content providers such as Overdrive are able to hash out similar deals.
