I attended this training last year in Denver, and highly recommend it. It is particularly good for folks who have had a little equity and inclusion training, and are ready to dig deeper into the five faces of oppression and how to work to stop it. A year later, I still keep the handouts from this training easily accessible and reference them.

For the Pacific Northwest region, the symposium will be hosted at the Seattle Public Library on August 24-25. Registration is open now and the deadline to register is August 14. Cost for PLA members is $250 and for everyone else it is $325.
