Silver Falls Library District has an opening for a part -time Youth
Services Assistant. 10 hours per week. $17.80 per hour. Not benefit
eligible.
The primary duties are to: Staff the Youth Service Desk; assist library
users by answering reference questions and locating and retrieving library
materials, shelve library materials, assist in planning and providing
programs for children and young adults.
The minimum qualifications are: High School diploma and relevant college
coursework. Experience with computers and basic office software.
Familiarity with children’s books and authors. Enthusiasm for working with
children,/youth and parents. Prior library experience and/or formal library
education a plus. The application deadline is: Wednesday, December 2, 2020,
