Basic SQL

This course introduces the basics of Structured Query Language including terminology, design, working with databases, and working with the PHP scripting language. Through instruction and completing in-class exercises which build on previous assignments, attendees can expect to achieve the following learning objectives:

*     Understand terminology and relational (linked) databases (tables)
*     Design a small database and write SQL statements
*     Demonstrate ability to add/delete data from database
*     Understand how PHP works with MySQL
