Good afternoon,

Rainier Library was also a recipient of the ALA's Libraries Transforming
Communities grant. I highly encourage all of you to apply. The process
is relatively uncomplicated and the expectations are easy to
follow/achieve.

Our small library was awarded $3000.00! That will go a long way in
keeping our materials up to date and provide the funding for a community
wide conversation regarding isolation and loneliness in our elderly
population.

I'm happy to answer any questions you may have or refer you to someone that
can help you.

Colette Nordstrom
Library Coordinator/City of Rainier, OR
