We hope this message finds you well. We are pleased to announce that the 20th Annual Northwest Interlibrary Loan and Resource Sharing Conference will once again be held virtually. Our apologies on the delay of this announcement as we carefully considered the best options for this year's conference.


The conference will be taking place virtually September 1st - 3rd.


A pre-conference workshop will take place on August 31st hosted by OCLC, titled "You had me at data"-Using statistics to up your ILL game.


NWILL is pleased to announce that our 2021 Keynote is Kaetrena Davis Kendrick; a prolific author, presenter, librarian, and lecturer whose research interests include professionalism, ethics, racial and ethnic diversity in the LIS field, and the role of communities of practice in practical academic librarianship. In 2019, Kendrick was named the Association of College and Research Libraries' Academic/Research Librarian of the Year. 2021 Virtual Conference Fees

$36 - Standard Registration

$18 - Budget Conscious (This includes limited department budgets, if you are self-financing your attendance, if you are furloughed/unemployed, or a student)

$162 - Institution Registration (5-8 people from the same location)


Scholarships

The NWILL Conference Committee is awarding four scholarships to cover the registration fee for ILL practitioners who would have difficulty participating otherwise. The committee encourages experienced and new ILL practitioners, paraprofessionals, as well as practitioners from underrepresented racial and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, and/or disabilities to apply. Conference fees help us offset the cost of the tools used to hold the virtual conference and offer a full conference experience. As a small independent conference, we use the fees from one year to pay for the following year. At this time, we look forward to offering you a full conference experience next year in Portland, Oregon.


NWILL is a conference organized by an all-volunteer committee and supported by the community, with a handful of key sponsorships.
