I have pretty good success with using rubbing alcohol (or even leftover hand sanitizer!) to help remove stickiness of all kinds.
Good luck!
(Also wondering if the allergy is to the smell or touch? Sometimes I find the smell offensive and annoying, then back on goes the mask, and sometimes gloves!)

Just out of curiosity, what is the chemical in question?

Subject: [Libs-Or] Goo gone allergy and alternate sticker removal
Hello folks, I am looking for recommendations for alternatives to Goo Gone. I have recently learned that it contains a chemical some people are severely allergic to.
Does anyone have a recommendation for something different to remove library stickers and such?
Thanks,
Karen Hill
