[Libs-Or] Host Natl Bk Fest Watch Party / Participate in Voter Registration Day

Hi Folks,
The National Book Festival will be back in person on September 3 in Washington, D.C., and the Library of Congress is looking for libraries to host watch parties<https://blogs.loc.gov/national-book-festival/2022/07/help-us-bring-the-national-book-festival-near-you/>. If interested, sign up by August 15.

Also, ALA is encouraging libraries to participate in National Voter Registration Day<https://nationalvoterregistrationday.org/about/> on September 20. Those who register<https://nationalvoterregistrationday.org/2022signup/?partner=ALA> will receive information and resources to share with patrons.
