Oregon State University Libraries and Press (OSULP) seeks applications for the OSU-Cascades Library Director. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position.
OSU-Cascades, located in Bend, Ore., is a branch campus of Oregon State University. Established in 2001, the campus expanded to a four-year university in 2015, and opened its new campus in 2016. The branch campus has ambitious enrollment goals to reach 3,000 to 5,000 students by 2030. OSU-Cascades is engaged in building a culturally diverse and community-centric educational environment.

The OSU-Cascades library is central to the campus mission of supporting students as they develop the knowledge and critical thinking ability to lead informed lives, serve their communities and enhance their careers. The library staff consists of the Director and 5-10 student employees. The OSU-Cascades Library Director reports to the Delpha and Donald Campbell Dean of Libraries at Oregon State University and will also by supported locally by the OSU-Cascades Program Director of Arts and Sciences. The OSU-Cascades Library Director is a member of the Oregon State University Libraries and Press (OSULP) management team and contributes to the overall planning and management of OSULP.

In all of its activities, OSULP strives to provide an inclusive environment where equity of access fosters equality of opportunity. All OSULP faculty are responsible for helping ensure that these goals are addressed within the unique context of their primary responsibilities. As an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity employer, OSU values diversity in our faculty and staff regardless of their self-identity; to that end, we particularly encourage applications from members of historically underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, veterans, women, and LGBTQ community members.

OSU Libraries & Press offers a relocation allowance and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement program choices, and numerous other benefits, including professional development support. Oregon has no state sales tax. Salary is expected to begin at $70,000.
