We are pleased to announce that the 21st Annual Northwest Interlibrary Loan and Resource Sharing Conference will once again be held virtually.

To help minimize zoom fatigue of attendees and committee members, the conference will be spread out over two weeks.

Our 2022 Keynote is Bobbi Newman, a librarian, writer, consultant, library advocate, and international speaker. She is the author of the forthcoming book Fostering Wellness in the Workplace: A Guide for Libraries and of the award-winning blog Librarian by Day (https://librarianbyday.net/). She developed the popular NNLM course “Wellness in the Library Workplace.” Bobbi is the Community Engagement and Outreach Specialist for the Network of the National Library of Medicine Region 6 at the University of Iowa.

This year’s program topics include:

Turnover and cross training
•

Resource Sharing in Tribal and Prison Libraries
•

Work life balance
•

Outreach & marketing
•

Controlled Digital Lending (CDL)

Additionally, at no extra cost, join copyright advisor Kyle Courtney for a virtual Copyright First Responders series starting August 19th. You must purchase the "NWILL and Copyright" ticket by August 12th to participate and it is expected that you attend all four days.

This year’s conference will take place on the Whova event app. Registration can be found at https://whova.com/portal/registration/nilrs_202209/.  If you have a Whova account, please register using the email address associated with it.

$18 - Standard Registration
FREE - Scholarships & BIPOC Attendees

*If an Admin or Office Manager will pay registration fees on behalf of an attendee, please contact David Moody (moody at chapman.edu) and Leanna Pagano (lpagano at callutheran.edu).

Scholarships
Scholarships are available to cover the cost of registration. To be considered, please complete the application form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSceA-xaB0_LeBsbkc_9YiMJRS8hzAD0ybaAcZmEtkc8eVL6Hw/viewform?usp=sf_link no later than Friday, July 15, 2022. There are two types of scholarship available:

Amigos Libraries - Amigos is sponsoring five (5) conference attendees from Amigos member libraries
•

NWILL conference is awarding four (4) additional scholarships to new ILL practitioners, Experienced ILL practitioners, Paraprofessionals, and/or practitioners from underrepresented racial and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, and/or disabilities.  Each NWILL award includes registration and professional development resources.
Fee Waiver for BIPOC Attendees
To actively work towards dismantling systems of racism, NWILL offers the option of free registration to anyone who identifies as Black, Indigenous, or a person of color (BIPOC). Register using the discount code: bipoc2022
