Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Library<https://www.ohsu.edu/library> is seeking applications for a Health Sciences Education & Research Librarian. This role is a full-time faculty position located in Portland, Oregon.



The Health Sciences Education & Research Librarian delivers information, education, and research services to OHSU faculty, staff, students, and health professionals and residents of the State of Oregon.  This position designs educational programs and curriculum delivered in various settings as part of a collaborative and welcoming team that values critical and transparent instructional design approaches.



The Health Sciences Education & Research Librarian serves as the primary contact librarian for several OHSU academic, research and clinical units, and engages with those communities to identify needs and assess the effectiveness of library services and instruction.  Additionally, this position provides literature searches and develops and maintains the expert knowledge required for complex searches.



The Health Sciences Education & Research Librarian works collaboratively with all OHSU Library team members to continuously improve learning and adoption of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across all facets of the organization. 

Faculty rank and salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience; the minimum salary for this position is $63,000.  This position reports to the Director of Education, Research and Clinical Outreach.
