The Deschutes Public Library is hiring a full-time Community Librarian<https://www.deschuteslibrary.org/about/employment/> to support community outreach for the Hispanic-Latino population of Deschutes County. This position assists in the development of outreach events and public involvement that serve Hispanic-Latino residents. Ideal candidates for this position are community oriented, relationship focused, and have demonstrated experience in collaboration with the Hispanic-Latino community, including schools, neighborhoods, and other non-profits.



This position requires bilingual proficiency (read/speak/write) in Spanish. The Library offers a 6% pay differential for positions needing ASL or Spanish speaking skills.



La Biblioteca Pública de Deschutes busca contratar a un Bibliotecario Comunitario<https://www.deschuteslibrary.org/about/employment/>, a tiempo completo, que apoye las actividades de extensión de la comunidad destinadas a la población hispano-latina del condado de Deschutes. Este puesto consiste en promover el desarrollo de eventos de extensión y de participación pública, en beneficio de los residentes hispano-latinos. Los candidatos idóneos para este cargo deberán ser personas comprometidas con la comunidad, centradas en establecer vínculos, y que demuestren experiencia en el trabajo con los residentes hispano-latinos, incluyendo sus escuelas, barrios y otras instituciones sin fines de lucro.

Este cargo requiere de competencias bilingües (leer/hablar/escribir) en español.
