Hi,

I am helping spread the word about an opportunity to join the Oregon Library Association's Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Antiracism (OLA EDIA) Committee. OLA membership is highly encouraged but not required to participate. If you are interested or have questions, please see the information below from Ericka Brunson-Rochette and Pia Alliende, the committee co-chairs.

Also, the committee has a fairly new podcast called OVERDUE: Weeding Out Oppression in Libraries<https://www.buzzsprout.com/1948067>. The Oregon Library Association's Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Antiracism Committee is accepting new members for the 2022-2023 term. The purpose of this committee is to guide and hold OLA individual and organization members accountable in the integration of diversity, equity, inclusion and antiracist into all aspects of the library work, spaces, services, collection and people.

The EDIA Committee entails a high level of commitment, time and engagement. Members should expect to volunteer five hours at minimum monthly, as well as participate in projects and efforts of this committee to the best of their ability.
