Hello Greta,

My former colleague, Mia Jackson from the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, gave me your contact information. I am helping a Portland-based nonprofit, the Foundation for Family Science & Engineering, dissolve and disperse their assets.

One of the main items left that I need to find a home for is about 700 Family Science books in Spanish. These were originally published in 1999, but they are full of timeless activities designed to encourage and guide families to explore science together.

As a nonprofit in the process of closing, we must donate these books to another nonprofit or public entity. They would make an excellent give-away at libraries or related events with Spanish-speaking visitors. I'm hoping to find a home locally as shipping is very expensive for heavy books!
