ALA is offering Building Library Capacity Grants to assist libraries at academic Minority Serving Institutions (MSI) across the United States and US Territories that have experienced economic hardship due the consequences of the pandemic and its aftermath, which has impacted their ability to serve their students, especially traditionally underserved populations.

For 2023, up to sixteen grants of $10,000 each to libraries to increase their capacity to provide essential services through December 31, 2023.

APPLICATIONS deadline is May 24, 2023, by 11:59 pm Central Time (CT).

Grants will be announced on June 30, 2023.
