Beaverton City Library is hiring a part-time (20 hour/week), Bilingual Outreach Specialist. This person will help run our new bookmobile, debuting this summer! We're outfitting a brand-new, all-electric Ford eTransit van to be a mobile branch of the library. It will provide weekly visits to sites around Beaverton, bringing books and other materials directly to the community for checkout.

We're looking for someone who is:


  *   Fluent (speaking, reading, writing) in both English and one of the city's priority languages (Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Vietnamese)
  *   Enthusiastic about connecting with community members and organizations
  *   Excited to spend about 75% of your time out in the community
  *   Comfortable (or willing to get comfortable) driving a Ford eTransit van
