Greetings,
Alex Best and I, Tameka Shelford, are graduate students conducting research for a class project at Towson University. We are writing to invite librarians to participate in our study titled, “Perceptions of Important Climate Change Topics, Symbols, and Immediacy using the Agenda-Setting Theory.” The primary aim of this study is to gain insight into important topics and symbols associated with climate change comparative to topics and symbols shown in children's picture books.
The participation of librarians in this survey is entirely voluntary, and we assure you that all responses will remain anonymous. No answers will be linked to any identifiable information.
The survey is expected to take about 15 minutes and is open for completion until November 25, 2023.
Please complete the survey using this link:

If there are any issues accessing or filling out the survey or if there are questions about this study, feel free to reach out to us at tshelfo1 at students.towson.edu<mailto:tshelfo1 at students.towson.edu> & abest4 at students.towson.edu<mailto:abest4 at students.towson.edu>.
Note: This research has received clearance in line with Towson University's "Surveys" policy. We are using Qualtrics to conduct the survey — a trusted, cloud-based platform that securely stores data on servers located in Ireland.
Thank you for considering our request. The participation of librarians will be invaluable to our research.
Warm regards and gratitude,
Tameka Shelford & Alex Best
