Let's get registered for the Oregon Association of School Libraries Fall 2023 Conference, October 13-14th in Lincoln City, OR! The website and registration links are live. A detailed schedule of sessions will be posted on the website soon; Friday evening 3-7pm festivities include book talks and author visits, and Saturday sessions run 8-5:30.

There are discount codes for retired OASL members, presenters, scholarship winners, and group discounts for districts registering more than 5 attendees. Early bird prices are good until October 1.

A dynamic lineup of authors and illustrators will be joining us, as well as our national organization president Courtney Pentland, and librarian Amy Hermon who hosts the phenomenal podcast School Librarians United<https://schoollibrariansunited.libsyn.com/>. 20 engaging sessions geared toward all library staff and supporters will be presented on Saturday by professionals from across the state! Topics include book repair, dyslexia, book challenges and book bans, teaching about 9/11, Chat GPT and other AI tools, teaching databases and research, engaging lesson design and more! There will also be an opportunity to earn a graduate credit for salary advancement - more details to come!
