LAC 2024 Call for Proposals


The 2024 Library Assessment Conference Planning Committee is pleased to announce that the 10th biennial Library Assessment Conference<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/t.e2ma.net/click/t1ibkg/lnqlnn/5u5xjr__;!!Mi0JBg!K51tDMeTRbF53VjRDOY4Bn2PtKvrOimB_WSuj5ZwSnP7qzvMzIesQ_f--IuLPWcz_omZuGuLDSCoNw$> will take place November 6–9, 2024, in Portland, Oregon. Preconference workshops will be offered Wednesday, November 6.



The conference builds and supports the wide-reaching community of library assessment practitioners and researchers who have responsibility or interest in this broad field. The multi-day event is a mix of invited speakers, workshops, and contributed papers and posters that stimulate discussion and provide actionable ideas for practitioners.

Submission Deadline


The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, March 1, 2024, 11:59 p.m. Hawaii–Aleutian standard time (UTC-10:00).

Proposal Topics


Proposals are invited that cover any aspect of library assessment/research, user experience, and organizational performance measurement in any type of library.

Presentation Formats


Submissions will be accepted in the following formats:


  *   Papers
  *   Posters
  *   Learning Labs (practical, hands-on learning sessions)
  *   Common Read discussions
  *   Panels


Proposal requirements vary by format. The conference will be in-person only. Accepted presenters are expected to attend the conference in person and pay the registration fee.
