[Libs-Or] NWILL Resource Sharing Conference Scholarship Application Deadline June 6

The deadline to apply for scholarships to attend the 2024 Northwest Interlibrary Loan & Resource Sharing Conference is June 6. Three attendees will be awarded a registration fee waiver plus a $500 travel stipend for in person attendance. Eight attendees will receive a registration fee waiver for the virtual conference. In addition, Amigos will sponsor registration fees for four staff from Amigos member libraries to attend the NWILL conference.

Virtual registration fees will also be waived for attendees belonging to a federally recognized tribe.

The NWILL conference will be held September 18-20, 2024 in a unique hybrid format; attendees can join us in person at University of Oregon<https://www.uoregon.edu/about> in Eugene<https://www.eugenecascadescoast.org/>, Oregon or virtually through the Whova<http://nwill24.events.whova.com> conference platform. Regardless of how you attend, you will have access to amazing presentations and networking opportunities!


Programming for 2024 includes presentations from our colleagues on topics such as E-Book ILL, Succession Planning, International Resource Sharing, Copyright, ISO 18626, Policy Harmonization, Training, Visualizing ILL Data, and more. Most presentations will be in-person and live-streamed to our virtual audience. The full program will be posted on the NWILL website<https://nwill.org/> and on the Whova<http://nwill24.events.whova.com> conference platform.


We are pleased to announce that our 2024 Keynote Speaker is Sharon Morris, Public Library Leadership Principal Consultant at the Colorado State Library. Sharon's interactive presentation will help us bring playful engagement to work and library culture.

Making your case to attend
Let your institution know that attending a resource sharing conference is an investment in their future and that you will share the knowledge and skills that you learn with your colleagues. Programs and recorded presentations from our past conferences are available on our website<https://nwill.org/past-conferences>.

The NWILL Conference has been held virtually for three years and we have seen a significant growth in the number of attendees. For the last three years that the conference was held in person, we averaged about 150 attendees each year.  We've grown to more than 600 attendees from at least 45 states, two Tribal Nations and five countries. We hope that our hybrid format will allow for in-person interaction with more than 100 attendees, plus virtual interaction with 300 to 500 attendees.
