[Libs-Or] Two school library/media positions available in Philomath, Oregon.

Hello there -

The Philomath School District currently has two open library positions.

The first is my position, which I am stepping down from to pursue a global
travel sabbatical. The District Media Specialist/Library has the
opportunity to oversee five vibrant libraries, serving grades K-12. You
work alongside three wonderful library media assistants who focus on
various age groups. You have the chance to support technology initiatives,
digital citizenship lessons, special events, educators, and early literacy.
Overall, it is a quirky, lovely, busy, and interesting job. Closing date:
June 23.

The second position is a Library Media Assistant, serving grades 6-12. This
person will work alongside two media assistants at two school locations.
There is the possibility of the position being split into two part-time
roles. Closing date: June 15.

Philomath, Oregon is located west of Corvallis and Oregon State University,
at the base of the coastal mountain range. The community is growing, and
has great access to outdoor recreation and the Oregon Coast. Philomath
School District has five schools, one Academy, and a charter school. The
current student population is hovering at about 1600.
