[Libs-Or] Inquiring About How Other Libraries Handle the Cost of Interlibrary Loan Services

Hello,
Our Interlibrary Loan service has seen an impressive amount of growth in the past five years. We're currently trying to determine how to insure that this service is sustainable given the amount of growth we've seen. We are currently looking at the possibility of charging a fee for patrons wanting to use our library's Interlibrary Loan service. We would like to know how other libraries handle the cost of this service. Could you share with us whether or not your library charges a fee for this service? If your library system charges a fee, would you share with us how your library determined what to charge your patrons for this service?
